What is this?

Client confidentiality is always of paramount importance for us at TLS. Growing from our experience with businesses, often competing within the same industry or market, we understand the high level of trust that must exist in our relationships with our clients. That trust is never taken lightly whether we provide Internet access to businesses or individuals and families.

With that in mind, we wish to post our policy concerning Internet privacy and the use of any information gathered in the normal course of our operations.

On certain pages such as classified pages, or merchandise inquiry pages, we allow users the option to provide us with names, addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, and email addresses. This information is never gathered without the knowledge or active participation of the client/user. Furthermore, information gathered in this fashion is solely for the purpose of responding to our clients concerning a sale or request which they themselves initiate.

Information provided to us (email address, phone or fax number) may be used to facilitate direct correspondence between us and our client.

Information we gather, and/or information volunteered to us, is never divulged, distributed or shared in any fashion. This includes the publication of directories and email lists and is the reason that TLS, unlike most Internet services, does not post a directory of subscribers. Under no circumstances is information provided to, or shared with, third parties, even if that information is already publicly available through other sources.

We do collect aggregate information site-wide, including anonymous site logging statistics, IP addresses and domain names. Some information, such as activity logs for email and file transfer, are discarded after review, and no attempt is made to discover or monitor these communications.

Other information, such as machine addresses, time and duration of activity, and the titles of pages which have been visited, may be retained to generate aggregate statistics about our service and the gauge the activity at our clients' web sites.
